What will I do as a volunteer for HPHS?
There are countless ways for you to help HPHS. In fact, here is a small list of areas in which we could utilize your talents:
• Taking photos of local shelter animals for adoption purposes
• Assisting with vaccination events
• Assisting veterinary staff during spay/neuter clinics
• Advocating through sharing information, attending meetings, etc.
• Organize and manage the pet food pantry
• Foster pets through local rescues
• Fundraise by contacting local businesses
How do I work with animals?
High Plains Humane Society doesn’t house any animals. Our organization advocates for our local shelter and rescues, but we do not keep animals at our facility. To foster or work with animals, please contact one of our local rescues. Their information can be found on the Adoption Page.
